-Completing the Worksheet
The Patient Worksheet is an electronic worksheet to enter data pertinent to a CDI review and can be accessed from all Worklists. To open the patient’s worksheet click any field on the patient's account except DRG’s or those without data.
Completing the Worksheet
Here the CDI Specialist can record pertinent data from their CDI review in to the appropriate note fields. Each entry into any note field will be automatically display user, time and date. CDI Manager initially displays certain note fields that correspond with the CDI training the facility has received from MedAssets. The user can also customize the Worksheet to include new note fields as needed.
You may add additional notes to the Patient Worksheet at any time. To do so click the plus sign icon adjacent to the field name.
This will open another box where additional notes can be entered.
Once entered and saved the new note will appear beneath the initial note.
Any of the fields can have as many notes as needed. You can also clear any of the note fields by clicking the Delete Note icon.
